If you don’t make it big by 40, you probably never will

When I was around 42, a wealthy friend causally said that if you don’t make it by 40, you probably never going to make it. I was quite offended by that, as I have been trying for a long time to make something extraordinary out of my life.

Now at 46, I think my friend was right. I may never make it big in anything, and I’m OK with it now. So what’s changed?
